Welcome to AP Language and Comp
 Welcome, all!
This course will focus on strengthening both your reading and writing skills as we read both fiction and nonfiction together.  You will need a composition notebook for your journal (in which you must make 25 entries per quarter) as well as a binder or notebook of some sort for a reading journal/log.  We will begin the year with a discussion of why read and why write followed by a study of education.  Also, we will read the novel The Catcher in the Rye by Salinger and the nonfiction book The Gatekeepers besides the essays assigned for daily reading.  I fyou ever have questions, feel free to contact me at kelly.king@badger.k12.wi.us.
